Hello everyone!
As my first blog on this website, I would like to give a little backstory about myself and my books.
I was born in a small town in California, here I stayed until I was nine. Then my family and I moved to a city on the Coast of California. I currently live there and am attending college as a law major. I have been writing novellas and poetry since I was fourteen. I religiously read romance novels and poetry collection books. My first book - "A New Chapter" - was a love story that I needed to come alive. I took inspiration from those around me and created two characters very important to me. My second book, the first book in my poetry series, - "The Meaning of Love" - is about my journey through grief and mourning. I wrote this book after my mother died of cancer. I was fourteen when she passed away. I used this inspiration to write the poetry. I want my poetry series to help my readers feel understood and included. I know people have gone through similar situations as I have and I hope that my readers can feel understood through my poems. However, not all of my poems are nonfiction. The poems regarding my mom and dad are true and the self love poems. However, the rest of the poems are fictional.
